EXPRESSIVE ARTS THERAPY

Colorful Face Masks

explore

Expressive Arts Therapy is a combination of psychology and expressive art tools that are brought together for mental health wellness and therapeutic purposes. Mediums such as visual arts (drawing, painting etc.), dance/movement, theater/drama, sound/music/rhythm, creative/expressive writing, sand play and many more, are used during the sessions for exploration and expression of one’s own psychological, emotional and physical needs. This form of therapy is beneficial for groups and individuals of all ages and professions. Individuals need not have prior experience with any form of art, to work with expressive arts therapy. Each session is curated based on the individual/group’s need. Our aim is to div into the content of the emotions that come up with the exploration, and not judge the quality of the art.
